Your Health in Safe Hands

Route du Fort Surgery has been caring for Jersey families from our home at the Lido Medical Centre for many years.

We offer the personal continuity of care that matters most: a doctor who knows you, and a team you can trust.

Our services cover everything from routine consultations and home visits to specialist clinics in women’s health, men’s health, menopause, pregnancy, weight management, sports medicine and travel vaccinations.

We’re open Monday to Saturday, and we will always strive to find a way to see urgent cases on the same day.

Meningitis B Vaccine

New Programme Announced!

Public Health have announced a new one-off Meningitis B vaccination programme for Year 13 pupils and under-25s starting university or residential further education for the first time this autumn.

This is great news for those heading off to university or college, as this age group are at higher risk of MenB disease.

Local arrangements for Jersey are still being confirmed by Public Health, and we’ll share more details as soon as they’re available. In the meantime, there’s no need to contact the surgery – we’ll post an update here the moment we know more.

Disabled Access (Update)

The Lift is currently out of order at the Lido Medical Centre.

The lift at the Medical Centre is currently out of order. The building’s management have ordered replacement parts from the UK and we expect that the lift will be back in action by June 20th

Until this time, we are offering telephone consultations and home visits to those patients who are unable to make it to the surgery without lift access. Please give us a call on 731 421 to book an appointment.

Thank you for your understanding.

Self-Service Check-in

Route du Fort are pleased to announce that we have a new self-service check-in system.

We appreciate that sometimes there is a bit of a queue at reception, and waiting to check-in can be a bit frustrating, especially if you are tight for time.

To make life easier, we have recently implemented a self-service check-in system, so that you can bypass the queue entirely. All you need to do is go to the tablet computer in the reception area and enter your date of birth, so that the system can find you and check you in.

Please note that it is only by checking-in that our doctors will know that you are here and waiting. If they do not see that you have arrived on our systems, they will call in their next patient and you will not be seen.

Staff Update

We are pleased to announce that Dr Green will be staying with us a little longer.

Owing to changes in personal circumstances, Dr Green will be staying with us until the end of September. Whilst we will be sad to say goodbye to him later this year, we are pleased that he’s staying with is a little longer than originally planned.

Sadly Dr McMahon has now left the surgery and we wish her all the very best in the future.

If you are currently registered with Dr McMahon, we would encourage you to transfer to another of our GPs. Please speak to our reception team, who will be happy to help out.
