Need help with your care?

Practice Policies

Route du Fort believe in having robust policies in place to assist with patient care. It is important that our patients know exactly what these are, and as such we encourage you to read them for yourselves.

If you need any further information on our policies, but can’t find it here, please Contact Us

Complaints take many forms, from constructive criticism to an expression of extreme dissatisfaction. We take complaints seriously at Route du Fort and treat each as a learning opportunity.

You can see our complaints policy here, and also further information and guidance here.

We're always happy to receive a compliment - it helps us learn how to better care for our patients and to reward those staff who earn it.

If you have something to share, please ask for the Practice Manager, or email practice.manager@rdf.gpnet.je

Any patient seeing one of our staff is entitled to have a chaperone in attendance for any reason. Please click here to see our full policy.

If you booked an appointment with the surgery, but did not attend, or give us sufficient notice of the cancellation, then you may be wasting an appointment that someone else could have used.

To deter this, and recover lost costs, we reserve the right to charge the full price of the missed consultation for anyone who does not inform us in advance, giving at least 6 working hours notice.

Please note that patients who repeatedly fail to attend the appointments they've booked may be permanently removed from our list.

At Route du Fort Surgery, we are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

We operate a Zero Tolerance policy towards any form of rudeness, abuse, intimidation, or threatening behaviour, either verbal or physical, directed towards our staff or patients.

For the safety of our community, anyone in breach of this policy will be asked to leave the premises immediately and may be permanently removed from our patient list.

Thank you for treating our team with respect.
