Need help with your care?
Frequently asked questions
Route du Fort is here to support your health journey, offering guidance, expert care, and a patient-first approach at every step of the way.
Are you accepting new patients?
Unfortunately, at this time we are only able to accept immediate family members of existing patients (parents, partners and children).
We are currently recruiting new GPs and as soon as we bring someone new onboard we will once again be in a position to welcome new patients.
Can I connect with a doctor online?
Currently we do not offer online consultations, though this is something that we will be investigating in the future.
If you need to speak to a doctor we do, however, offer phone appointments.
I'm a visitor to Jersey. Can you help me?
Absolutely! We're more than happy to offer healthcare support to visitors to our lovely island.
Please give us a call on 01534 731 421 to find out more.
Sports & Activity Certification
We have always been glad to support our patients with sporting challenges and activity holidays. Regrettably, due to changes in insurance and regulatory requirements, we are no longer able to provide written fitness opinions or complete certification forms for sporting events or activity holidays.
Providing this type of certification properly requires specialist medical expertise and diagnostic equipment that goes beyond what a general practice can offer. If you need this type of certification, we would encourage you to contact a specialist sports medicine clinic. While we are unable to make specific recommendations, you may wish to contact a specialist sports clinic as a starting point.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes, and our team is happy to answer any questions you may have.
What healthcare areas are covered?
We provide a full range of care, from general health to specialist services, always focusing on your individual needs. Please see our clinics page for further information.
When can I drop off samples
If your doctor has asked you to drop off a sample, please note that we can only accept them between 8am and 12:30pm.
Unfortunately we cannot accept samples after this time as the courier will have already taken the days' samples to the hospital.
If you can't make it to us in time, you can drop the sample off at the hospital yourself - just go to the pathology lab reception, next to the pharmacy and they'll be able to help you.
