I qualified from the University of Aberdeen in 2008 and grew up in Bangor, Northern Ireland. After completing my GP training in the West of Scotland, I went on to work on the Isle of Islay, and later in Kilcreggan and in the Accident & Emergency department in Dunoon.

I moved to Jersey in 2022 and have really enjoyed becoming part of the island community. I have a particular interest in mental health and men’s health, and I value building supportive, long-term relationships with my patients. I have also undertaken additional training in joint injections to help manage a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

I became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2014 and am currently working towards Fellowship of the College.

Outside of work, I love making the most of life in Jersey with my wife, Abi, and our two children. Whether walking, running or cycling, I enjoy exploring the island, and we have taken part in the Island Walk as well as the Lieutenant Governor’s Walk together as a family.
